I got 112 of these blogs up and running that make me a lot of money. It was hard work. I publish my ideas, they get found in the search engines by people looking for answers. I bust my behind all day to make money in my sleep. However, I firmly do believe that a huge stimulus check would revive the economy. Let's pump the dollars into our own country before we start pumping billions a day into foreign countries like Iraq and Afghanistan. Hey...it's just my opinion. Thanks for visiting my page. You expect everything to be handed to you. By being involved in a 401k you were fully aware of the risk involved. Here is an idea, take what you were putting into your 401k and try a fixed annuity. Guaranteed growth over the term wow. I am paying 75 a month into mine and will have well over a million liquid dollars available to me at my retirement. My pay in term is 20 years. That's 18,000 pay in and over a million pay out. yeah I pay for 20 and wait another 20 after that but I think making almost 60 dollars on the dollar is worth the wait. The great depression was not caused by poor planning because you cant plan the stock market. It is a complete gamble that way too many people had way too much faith in.so in my opinion stupidity and the belief in private banks and company's which were and still are traded on the open market are the cause of the Great Depression The causes that we are all educated to believe are as follows. 1. Stock Market Crash of 1929 ( Why did it crash?) 2. Bank Failures (Where Did the money go?) 3. Reduction in Purchasing Across the Board (Where did the bank spend our money?) 4. American Economic Policy with Europe ( lets put a tariff on foreign goods) 5. Drought Conditions in the Mississippi valley (Darn another summer in the mid-west lets blame that for us being broke) Not by poor planning or the rich and the political people of the day. Yes seniors need help, But who is to blame for not planning a retirement fund for your selves. The government is not the answer people. You are in the positions you are in due to your own decisions and choices. So you ask, who is this guy talking like this? I am a 27 year old man working for minimum wage with an auto re-possession, credit card debt, medical bills, no car, and I ask for nothing of no one. I am the only reason I am in the position I am in. Same goes for 99.9% of you. Open your eyes people, who the hell would give you 50,000 cash. ohh let me buy a new car, yeah a 45,000 s.u.v that I cant afford gas for, but now I have get my kids to school in my new suv and work in my new suv. "hey hunny we can either put gas in our new suv the govt bought for us or pay the light bill". Do you see the problem?
