There is a new WordPress Plugin about to relaunch soon. It’s called the Contest Burner. The Contest Burner Viral Marketing WordPress plugin will integrate the use of Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and more to create a massive flow of traffic to your website – virally.

Cleveland – Most Miserable City In The U.S.

I just finished reading a piece in Forbes.com. Cleveland topped the list again in Forbes.com, this time for most miserable city in the U.S. I am a Clevelander and I’m not miserable, but I know that the city does have its troubles. Wait, the city has a lot of trouble.

When you lay-off cops, you employ crime.

People are moving out of the city at an alarming rate.

There is almost a 20% foreclosure rate.

Drive through any neighborhood, especially the east-side and you will see some of the most beautiful houses in the world boarded up.

The article goes on to say

“This year Cleveland takes the top spot in our third annual ranking of America’s Most Miserable Cities. Cleveland secured the position thanks to its high unemployment, high taxes, lousy weather, corruption by public officials and crummy sports teams (Cavaliers of the NBA excepted).”

I was born and raised here. The people aren’t miserable….

What am I going to do about living in the most miserable city in the nation? Well I’m not miserable, but I am moving out of the state in March. I’ll miss Cleveland. I hope it can shine again in the media eyes again.

Tracking your child with a GPS.

You turn your back for one second at the mall, and poof… your child isn’t there. You call out there name only to find that they are in the next aisle looking at toys or hiding from you. This is the case most of time and as a father of a 7 year old, it scares me sometimes when he plays outside.

I was doing some reading to find if you can actually track your child with a GPS device and found out there is something out there that can track your child. It will even send you an alert via text message if they get too far away from an area.

It’s called the Insignia Little Buddy Child Tracker.

The Insignia Little Buddy Child Tracker keeps tabs on your child at all times with this small but sophisticated device that combines GPS and cellular technology to provide you with real-time location updates. The small and lightweight Little Buddy transmitter fits easily into a backpack, lunchbox or other receptacle, making it easy for your child to carry so you can check his or her location at any time using a smartphone or computer.

It has customizable safety checks allow you to establish specific times and locations where your child is supposed to be for example, in school causing the device to alert you with a text message if your child leaves the designated area during that time. Additional real-time alerts let you know when the device’s battery is running low so you can take steps to ensure your monitoring isn’t interrupted.

So the next time you want to know if there is a device that can track your child, the answer is..yes there is.

Until they come up with an implantable device that you can put into your teenage daughter, this seem to be the next best thing.

List of Celebrities Using Twitter

There are many celebrities using Twitter. Some actually post tweets themselves like P Diddy’s twitter page and some use a digital assistant like Brittany Spears. There are some sites that actually follow celebrities on Twitter. They put these Tweets together to form a digital paparazzi or “Twitterrazzi.”

Once such site that is a Twitterrazzi, is Twitterrazzi.com. Twitterrazzi. com follows celebrities on Twitter and adds gossip and video in the mix. Twitterrazzi has a huge list of celebrities on Twitter and is very entertaining.

When news breaks about a celebrity, I search Twitterrazzi to see if that celeb is tweeting about it. The best thing about Twitterrazzi is that if Twitter goes down for some reason, you’ll still be able to see celebrities on Twitter with Twitterrazzi.

Twitterrazzi has a list of Celebs on Twitter.

The urban dictionary describes Twitterrazzi:

Websites and news media outlets that constantly use Twitter to find sources and stories for news. People who take pictures of celebrities and post them on Twitter.

So the next time you are getting a craving of your favorite celebrity on Twitter, head to a site that has a nice list of celebrities on Twitter….the Twitterrazzi.

New WordPress Plugin Gets Viral Traffic To Your Website

A couple of weeks ago I wrote a blog post about a new wordpress plugin called Contest Burner.

Contest Burner WordPress Plugin uses Twitter to create a contest on your blog or website and brings viral traffic to your websites just by people entering the contest using Twitter.

Well Contest Burner has upgraded so now it incorporates YouTube into the contest as well.

So not only will get viral traffic from Twitter users, but YouTube users as well.

LeBron Headed To New York

It’s been over 2 weeks ago since I started my Twitter Contest. Many of my readers have tweeted and participated in my contest.

The Winner of the LeBron James Escalade Contest is SimonRosenberg with 699 points. I believe that he lives in New York City. So yes, LeBron is leaving for New York as soon as I get that shipping address.

Let’s have some fun!!

I can’t wait until basketball season. And if know me or have seen my tweets during basketball season, you’ll know I’m a big Cavs fan.

So what I have done is devise a contest for one lucky winner to receive a LeBron James Collectible Escalade and Trading Card as seen in the picture. I’ll even pay for the shipping.

Getting Free Stuff on The Internet Using Twitter

The economy is sluggish and the marketers know it. Most companies and marketers know that if they give something away that they will get something in return.

I know this too.

I have used Twitter to get everything from 200 dollar tickets to marketing seminars, beer festival tickets and even software.
