My son had his first birthday about a week ago and one of the toys that he plays with constantly is the PlaySkool Busy Ball Popper. The PlaySkool Busy Ball Popper  is a fun toy for my son. He love the thing. What I noticed is that it teaches him dexterity with his little hands. Once a ball slides down the chute, air makes the ball pop up. Sometime the ball will float there for a  few seconds  and he learns to knock the ball out rather than pick it up as seen in the video below.

I would highly recommend this toy, not only will it bring you joy when your child plays with it but it teaches them some rules. These rules are that they need to press the button to make it work, in order for a ball to pop up they have to put the ball down the chute and I’m sure there are other developmental skills that your child will learn with this toy.

I like playing with this toy and I’m 38 years old. But I’m a kid at heard. The Playskool Busy Ball Popper takes 4 D Batteries. So far after a week of playing the batteries are still going strong. But as you know if you have kids, you’ll need to always stock up on batteries. It’s part of parenthood. LOL

Buying a Domain Name

There are literally   thousands of places you can buy a domain name. There are three companies that I have bought domain names from. Some of the cheapest domain names I have bought were at GoDaddy. Not does GoDaddy have lower prices than most companies, they have superior customer service.  I personally have never had a problem with GoDaddy.

Even GoDaddy’s webhosting plans are affordable.

If you are starting a blog or website, I would highly recommend using GoDaddy.  If you want to install WordPress on your website, the easiest way to install WordPress is to get a GoDaddy account and with one click you can have WordPress installed on your server without any trouble.

I have tried to install WordPress on a Yahoo webhosting account but there were too many problems.

2009 has been an odd year. It seemed every 3 weeks a celebrity died. I also lost two family members this year.

Sorry for such a morbid post but 2009 was an odd year. Gas prices started out low now they are high again,  the economy is still in bad shape and all I hear on the radio and TV is doom and gloom.

A month ago, I was smoking my usual brand of cigarettes and I noticed a funny taste. I also noticed that the cigarrette kept going out by itself.  A week later, I got an email from a friend on Facebook. She said that FSC above the barcode on a pack of cigarettes meant that they were Fire Safe Cigarettes.

I know these cigarettes will kill me, but so will alcohol and jay walking.

It made me think, what kind of other shit are they putting in these cigarettes? If they want to keep messing with chemicals in a cigarettes, just outlaw them.

So after hearing this news. I went to stores in urban areas to get my brand without the FSC marking on the barcode. My brand is not popular in urban areas, so I know that retailers will still have the old “cause a fire and fuck it” type cigarettes. I was right. By 2010 all cigarettes have to be FSC.

But as soon as I get a pack of smokes with FSC above the barcode, I tell the retailer, I don’t want them.

It’s pretty piss-poor that they could pass legislation to make fire safe cigarettes without asking the consumer.

Wouldn’t you be pissed off if you were buying certain diapers for your child and found out that they put a chemical into the diaper to make it a fire safe diaper?

Pretty shitty. It’s time for me to quit smoking.

You turn your back for one second at the mall, and poof… your child isn’t there. You call out there name only to find that they are in the next aisle looking at toys or hiding from you. This is the case most of time and as a father of a 7 year old, it scares me sometimes when he plays outside.
