How To Build Iphone Apps

I love learning new things. One of the things that I want to learn is how to build iphone or ipad apps. A simple app that gets popular can bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even if it’s a free app like angry birds, it can gain exposure to a paid app of even licensing to a video game chain.

Learning how to build iphone apps is not that hard from what I read. There are plenty of courses out there and you don’t need to be a hardcore programmer.

When you are buiding an iphone app or ipad app you have to keep in mind that you are not creating a big software program. Simple is better.

Iphone apps have made a lot of money for guys that have had no experience with the Iphone or ipad platform.

In late August of 2011, I was changing a flat tire. I strained my back pretty bad I thought. A week or two later I took my oldest son golfing and later that day, my back and the front of my leg had shooting pain. The pain was so intense that I missed an entire week of work.

I had enough and I went to JFK Emergency in Boynton Beach. They didn’t even have room for me. They had me sit on a gurney in the hall way. A doctor spoke to me for 15 seconds, then after 10 minutes, they gave me narcotics and sent me on my way. The bill… $1650!!! For what? They didn’t treat me. That is not medicine. That is bullshit!

A week after being high on pain pills, I decided to look for a chiropractor in the West Palm Beach area.  I really never been to a chiropractor in my life. My vision of chiropractor was a big guy that throws you around the room and cracks your back. I was pretty reluctant to go to a chiropractor in West Palm Beach.

Then a co-worker of mine told me about a chiropractor in Palm Beach Gardens…. his name…Dr. Thaw. Pretty cool name for a chiro that would help my frozen back. (I’m sure he gets that joke all the time.)

Anyway, I traveled to Palm Beach Gardens and went to see Dr. Thaw. I must say that he is a spectacular individual. This man treated me for my pain by correcting the problem and working with me instead of what the Emergency Room did.

After about 3 weeks of treatment. I was able to walk normally again. I was able to pick up my infant son.

I owe Dr. Thaw a big thank you and that is exactly what I’m doing by writing this to the masses.

Herb for Calming the Nerves

Ahhhhhh where do I begin….
Stressed? Yeah I know the feeling. Anxiety sucks…the day to day worries of adulthood…it really blows. Most of you that know me understand that I hate taking any medications made by man. The pharmaceutical companies are the biggest liars and killers of human being in the united states. Plus I can’t take any drugs, legal or not because of my sensitive position at work.
I have been taking st johns wort to lift my spirits up when I feel down…It really works. I drink the tea form because I just like tea.
Now for the good shit…I love this herb called Valerian. You talk about calming. It’s like having a comforting blanket wraped around you. It mellows the fuck out of you. I haven’t had it in a while so I bought some at CVS up the block. I took 3 of them this evening and now i’m on cloud nine…WOW! I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS STUFF  IS LEGAL AND A NATURAL HERB….i just feel really mellow and relaxed, almost intoxicating.
I did some research on this herb VALERIAN and found that Winston Churchill (The prime minister of Great Brittan during WWII for you non-historians) gave the citizens of England VALERIAN during the bombings during the blitz (that means a bombing campaign by the nazi’s). He used VALERIAN on his people to calm them down and to relieve anxeites caused by war. Since I have my own war going on in my life with anxieties I take valerian to calm me down. But now I think I’ll use it as a recreational drug since I can’t do “other” things because of my job.
Go out and get a bottle….try it…WARNING: the pills smell pretty bad but just take em with some soda or kool-aid..to kill the taste..after 1/2 hour you

should feel pretty good….if you take a FULL dose before you go to bed it will help you fall asleep.. but if you want to just veg out and mellow take a half a dose…it’s very euphoric and pleasing.

well enough of my rambling….when I’m excited about shit I can just go on for days and days writing about it or talking about it. Sorry but that is just the way I am…FULL OF KNOWLEDGE….and sometimes FULL OF SHIT…

Drug Testing For Welfare – Test The CEO’s Too

Florida Drug Testing For Welfare Recipients

July 1st 2011 a new Florida law will go into effect that will require people who receive welfare to get drug tested when they apply for federal temporary assistance.  The cost of the drug screening would fall on the individual who is applying for benefits.

However, if the individual does test positive for drugs, they can designate another individual to revieve the benefits on behalf of their children.

I know this is a great idea because taxpayers shouldn’t have to fuel a drug habit. But I see the abuse already.

Grandma or another family member is going to get a bunch of money when she is designated as the individual who gets the benefits when a family member fails a drug test.

Also, what about alcohol? Alcohol is the most abused drug in this country. There is nothing from stopping someone in Florida from cashing their welfare check and hitting the liquor store.  Plus, as taxpayers, we will pay for the treatment of someone who is abusing alcohol while on welfare.

Although the law is a great idea and I’m all for drug testing people who receive taxpayer benefits you have to think…..

Were any of the company executives from the following companies drug tested when they got billions in Federal Bailout Money??? They should have drug tested every person that works for one of these companies.

If I asked the government for a billion dollars…they would definitely think I was on drugs.

Bad Broccoli – How to get rid of that odor

So you left some broccoli in the fridge and it rotted. This can stink up your entire fridge and your house. That’s probably why you are reading this.

So how do you get rid of that bad broccoli smell in the house or fridge?

I remember while living in Cleveland I had a small fire in the house and I knew that the smoke smell was going to last for days.

What I did was set out a bowl of vinegar. It absorbed the smoke odor.

It really worked. Now if a bowl of vinegar can help to get rid of a house fire odor. I’m sure it will work for the bad broccoli odor.

Also make sure you dispose of the bad broccoli by putting it in a few plastic bags to make sure it does not stink up your garbage.

Broccoli smells so bad that even the garbage men may bypass your house. Flies and maggots won’t even go near a garbage when they get a whiff of that bad broccoli smell.

10 Things You Can Say To A Man To Get Him Out of The Mood.

Stop Right There!!! Before we go any further....

Okay..it’s late..so bare with me on this one.

I see articles all the time about “How to get a Woman In The mood.”  Especially when I’m in the check-out at the local supermarket and the line is long and filled with people who have 50 items in the express lane.  That new issue of Cosmo on the rack  has a steamy article on the cover that calls your name when ever you see the word “sex” on the cover.

There are tons of articles written on how to get a woman in the mood but I never see articles about how to get a man out of the mood.

We know women make excuses not to have sex. We have heard them all…but do these excuses really get us dudes out of the mood?

Here are some popular excuses women use:

  • I have a headache.
  • It must have been something I ate.
  • I’m gassy.
  • I’m having my period. (Damn, you have had your period three times this month already?)
  • I just don’t feel good.
  • I’m sleepy.
  • I didn’t shave.

You get the point.

Well ladies, you don’t have to make excuses anymore. Take my word for it. I have come up with a list of ways to get a man out of the mood.  This way you don’t have to make excuses. You can just say the following things to him to basically get him out of the mood.

When my brother got married, I had no idea what to do when I had to give a speech. I was looking for ideas for best man speeches for this wedding. Being the best man, I was stressing over what to do when it came to giving a great wedding speech for his special day.

As the best man, I wanted to give a great wedding speech or wedding toast that would be funny, exciting, emotional and memorable. So instead of getting up and giving a speech, what I did was create a great video and I played it at the reception on a big screen TV as a wedding speech. I knew that I had a great idea. I got pictures of him and his wife as children, and then as they were dating and the also a few funny and embarrassing pictures.  I wanted the video to have highs and lows. I wanted it to be cute, funny and I wanted it to be emotional so that people would remember this wedding speech video.

Find Out Unknown Calls

Recently I was getting a lot of calls that were coming up private or unknown. I wanted to find out who was calling me and a googled for a site or some sort of technology that would tell me who called me. I wanted to find out who called with a private number.

Then I came across a very cool site that did just that.  You can CHECK IT OUT HERE.

What this service did was unblock blocked calls, and show me the actual number of the person or company that called.

If you get harassed by bill collectors, ex girlfriends or anyone else…this service will show you who called you with a private or unknown showing up on your caller id.
