Are We Getting A Stimulus Check This Year?
A while ago I wrote a post about an idea to give everyone in the U.S. a 2009 stimulus check for $50,000. This 2009 stimulus check would stimulate the economy in no time. Instead of bailiout out the automakers with billions of dollars, why don’t our government just give everybody a big 2009 stimulus check. That way people could have the money to buy the cars to bailout the auto industry. It’s way to simple for our lawmakers to figure out.
So, are we getting a stimulus check this year?
We saw a tax cut. I saw an extra 24 dollars a pay check which amounts to about 700 a year in tax breaks. I don’t know about you but I worked at a place for almost 3 years and didn’t get a raise while the price of gas and food was skyrocketing. So this small increase didn’t mean a thing to me. I didn’t stimulate the economy with this money at all.
Now that I lost my job, I could use a 2009 stimulus check for about 50 grand and I bet you could use this money also to stimulate the economy.
So the bottom line on if we are getting a stimulus check this year is probably not. Unless you and I don’t write are lawmakers, we’ll never get a 2009 stimulus check.

U got that right….more people have to get involved with their local politicians, at local meeting and voice their opinions…This would be a real good start…
the government should also legalize marijuana we spend millions if not billions of dollars each year on fighting it. If we were to legalize it like canada or holland we would make billions in taxing it not to mention all the hype and tourism it would bring each year. and by the way I could do a lot of stimulating with 50 grand, hell of an idea.
the president should stop making the richer richer and the poorer poorer. maybe he should not get paid at all and see how the rest of us live and suffer while he is helping out all those big companies or even china what business is it of him to help them out when we can’t buy school clothe for our children. we made a mistake electing him president
i think we should get a stimulus check to help buy school clothe for our children. its not like we are gonna buy a damn car if we can’t buy clothe for our childrens education. as for know i know OBAMA is a hated man but ass long as he keeps the rich happy he is happy
I also think we should get a stimulus check this year especially with so many people out of work. I think it would help a lot with the economy. I think spending it on getting a car is dumb some people are happy with not having a car, we need to stay a green state and with here cars mean more population in our air and we already have enough of that.!
